No. While BM TRADA certification offers the highest level of documented assurance, fire doors do not have to be BM TRADA approved to meet regulatory requirements. WLS also installs non-BM TRADA fire doors — always ensuring that they meet all legal and insurance obligations.
For any non-certified installation, our team will:
- Verify the door's fire rating (e.g. FD30, FD60) is appropriate for your building’s specifications
- Ensure all components (door leaf, frame, hinges, intumescent seals, hardware) are tested and compatible as a complete assembly
- Maintain detailed records of all test certificates, supplier documentation, and installation notes for full traceability and compliance reporting
