Who the customer was

We were contacted by JHM Contracts, a team of experienced Managers, Surveyors and Operatives who can assist with all aspects of construction and refurbishment projects. We were referred back by a previous customer who contacted us again after a successful first project, where we installed commercial fire systems at a commercial property near Borough Tube Station, in London.

What we installed

We were asked to install Paxton Net 2 commercial access control systems, Texecom commercial intruder alarm systems, and Advanced Fire Panel commercial fire protection systems. WLS is an approved Platinum Paxton installer so using their Net 2 system was the obvious choice.

Problems we overcame

Some projects come with more challenges than others, but our mission is always to provide the best level of service possible, no matter the circumstance. In this case, we encountered a couple issues that we worked hard to solve. Namely, the building was old, and the cables were hard to install and left exposed to keep costs low. The access doors were also old which made it harder to install maglocks. The fire detectors are double ceiling height so we had to use a scissor lift instead of a ladder to install wiring and detectors.

The results

In spite of these issues, the team worked together to complete the installation to the highest standard possible. The client is pleased with our work.
