What’s involved in a commercial CCTV maintenance service?

CCTV maintenance involves first checking with the customer whether they’re experiencing any CCTV operational difficulties. Then we check the cameras are clean and that CCTV connections are fine. The servicing also involves verifying and cleaning all the CCTV monitors and checking recording equipment is in working condition (this includes live recording and playback operations as well as time and date settings). We also conduct a thorough check of electrical mains and connections that control the CCTV camera equipment. Finally, the maintenance finishes with a completion of the log book which we leave on site in a secure box.

It is recommended that commercial CCTV systems be serviced at least annually. Regular inspections help identify potential issues before they become serious problems.

If you notice any issues with your CCTV equipment, report them immediately to your maintenance provider. Prompt reporting can prevent potential hazards and ensure safety.
