Commercial fire alarm systems for Arding & Hobbs
Who the customer was
Arding & Hobbs is a grade-2 listed ex-department store next to Clapham Junction Station in London, re-imagined to provide “an engaging mix of retail and leisure uses as well as 90,000sq ft of contemporary workspace”. We were excited to work on such a prestigious property, and to take on the challenges that came with working on a listed building.
What we installed
We designed and installed a networked system of 8 Advanced panels and Apollo XP95 range fire detection systems. These integrated Advanced electronic panels are top of the line, and are exactly the level of fire protection required for a listed commercial building like Arding & Hobbs.
Problems we overcame
We worked hard to complete the job within the allotted time frame. As the building was listed, the builder ran into numerous issues over the course of the project which shortened our allotted installation time down from a year to just four months.
The results
With the help and hard work of the whole team, we met the client deadline and the installation was completed to the highest standard possible. The client was thrilled with our work, and the level of service we provided in the extremely short time frame.
